Nuno Amado

Nuno Amado

Nuno Amado is a PhD student at the Program of Literary Theory, University of Lisbon (UL), and an associate member of The Institute for Philosophy of Language (IFL) since September 2009. He earned his MA in 2008 from the Program of Literary Theory (UL), with a thesis on Kafka. In 2005 he earned his BA in Portuguese Language and Culture from the same university. He is also a member of the Philosophy and Literature Network, where he was one of the coordinators of the seminar on Arthur Danto: Art and Mere Things.

He is currently writing his PhD dissertation on Fernando Pessoa and his main interests are Literary Theory, Philosophy of Art, Fernando Pessoa, Franz Kafka, and Arthur C. Danto.
