Paolo Stellino is FCT post-doc fellow at the Nova Institute of Philosophy (IFILNOVA) of the New University of Lisbon. He is member of the Nietzsche International Lab (Lisbon) and the International Nietzsche Research Group (GIRN). He is also member of the Centre d’Éthique Contemporaine of the University of Montpellier.

He is currently working on a Nietzschean approach to evolutionary ethics. His main fields of interest are metaethics, evolutionary ethics, ethics and cinema, bioethics and philosophy of suicide. He is particularly interested in the relation between philosophy and 19th/20th Century literature as well.

He is the author of the book “Nietzsche and Dostoevsky: On the Verge of Nihilism” (Bern: Peter Lang, 2015) and co-editor of “Nietzsche y la hermenéutica” (with F. Arenas Dolz, L. Giancristofaro. Valencia: Nau Llibres, 2007, 2 Vols.) and “Teoria e pratica della verità in F. Nietzsche” (with P. Gori. Pisa: ETS, 2012). He has also published several papers in international journals and books (see
