Since 2011 I have been a postdoctoral researcher at the IFILNOVA – Universidade Nova de Lisboa and at the Technische Universität zu Berlin. In my postdoctoral research I am concerned with themes related to time perception and to representation of time in cinema.
AOS: Classical German Philosophy, Epistemology, Philosophy of Perception.
AOC: Aesthetics, Phenomenology, Philosophy of Mind and Cognitive Science.

In 2009 I was awarded my Ph.D. by the Department of Philosophy at the University Paris IV – Sorbonne (France). My thesis was entitled Critique and Science: A Study on the Transformation of Criticism in the Early Writings of F. W. J. Schelling. In my thesis and in subsequent articles, I have addressed the problem of Schelling’s conception of idealism and have proposed a new interpretation of the relation between his theoretical and practical philosophy. More specifically, I have argued that Schelling makes use of the idea of "practical consequences" in his theoretical philosophy.
